Corra Group Privacy Policy Details

Information Collection
All data collection, storage and utilization procedures practiced by Corra Group are in compliance with all applicable laws, which include the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), individual state or province laws, the European Union Data protection Directive and any other international laws as applicable.

Personal Information Disclosure: United States or Overseas
Corra Group does not share any personal information collected from this site with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Corra Group does not generally transfer information to third parties outside the United States or its territories, unless it is necessary in order to complete a background report about the individual. Such information would be transferred outside of the United States or its territories when the completion of a background report about the person requires gathering information about that individual from outside the United States (for example, verifying education records outside the United States, verifying employment records outside the Unites States, or conducting an international criminal record check). Personal data is transmitted to these third parties through secure transmission in these limited circumstances.

California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") Statement:
The California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) provides California residents with certain rights effective January 1, 2020 about their personal information. But the CCPA also has exemptions. The CCPA does not apply to the activities performed by a consumer reporting agency (CRA) that is subject to the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Corra Group is a consumer reporting agency (CRA) that processes the personal information of California residents only as authorized by the Fair Credit Reporting Act and therefore the CCPA does not apply to Corra Group background screening activities. Please review California Civil Code §1798.145(d)(1). “(2) Paragraph (1) shall apply only to the extent that such activity involving the collection, maintenance, disclosure, sale, communication, or use of such information by that agency, furnisher, or user is subject to regulation under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, section 1681 et seq., Title 15 of the United States Code and the information is not used, communicated, disclosed, or sold except as authorized by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.”

Notification of Changes
If we change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement, our website homepage, and other places we consider appropriate so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
