Corra sees the return of small businesses to the American landscape. Many younger candidates and just as many Boomers would rather work in an intimate environment offered by a small business than in the corporate setting.
Even if you have a small business you should have a pre-employment screening program in place. You should be running corporate research on your vendors and clients to make sure they are as healthy and as legitimate as they say they are. In today’s world you really never know who is on the other end of the phone.
At the very least run a criminal background check on your job candidates. It can save you more money in the long run than the few bucks you spend for the background report.
So check them out before you hire. And do research on your strategic partners.
