Corra finds it remarkable how pre-employment background checks will yield different crimes in cycles. For quite some time you won’t see anyone from the sexual offenders’ registry, and then several will appear within a week. The same thing with other crimes. One day will be fairly calm, crime-wise, and the next it will appear as the entire nation has been ravaged by an epidemic of forgers. What is even more remarkable, since Corra is a national company, these reports will return from all over the nation.
Corra doesn’t consider this good niews. Just something to ponder along with the other inexplicable oddities that pop up in defiance of most logic. Although not all bad news that comes in waves is inexplicable. The increased frequency of corporate and business fraud and the scam artists who cause it is most likely the result of our economic downturn and the ensuing desperation.
