Believe it or not, old-fashioned offline dating services still exist. Paul A. Falzone runs a few of them, with names like The Right One and Together Dating. To compete with larger players such as Match.com and eHarmony, Falzone, whose companies are based in Norwell, Massachusetts, turned to outside help–an online marketing firm that specializes in rounding up sales leads. Falzone is not alone. A growing number of businesses are using these so-called lead generation services. Corra knows there are a lot of companies out there professing to provide you with super lead generation that will increase your business and make your life easier. If you don’t believe Corra, just watch that commercial where the cute little girl brags how her daddy is now making so much more cash, since Mommy signed him up to a lead generation service.
Corra is solicited about once a week by companies promise to increase our business and make life easier by providing bonafide leads for low cost, etc. Unfortunately for most, Corra can add the offers do not appear all that cost effective.
For the rest of you out here, Corra can conduct corporate research to help determine if the company soliciting you is for real and if they can measure up to what they claim. The number of lawsuits is one way to help determine the veracity of their claims, as is a simple business credit report.
Be smart. Before you buy into anything, check them out. Check them out before you sign the contracts.
