HRM Today has announced it is on the auction block. This social networking vehicle that caters to the human resources sector, will be sold through EBay. The auction began on August 5th and with end Saturday, August, 15th. Today we should know who the new owners are.
HRM Today has done much to generate interactivity among the human resources professionals and those in related fields, including staffing people and background checking services. It has made good use of Internet 2.0 to establish a community that now boasts some 1,200 members. There are links, blogs, and articles on different HR related topics.
While the venue has grown substantially since its inception, the its owners, Laurie Ruettimann and Lance Haun believe their baby is ready to ascend to another level. They believe that human resources related companies with stronger IT related infrastructures will find their social networking venue the most appealing.
We certainly wish them luck with the auction. We hope it not only sells for major bucks but ends up in caring hands that truly will take their idea to a higher level.
