Corra Group–No Background Checks on Labor Day

Corra Group will be closed Monday for Labor Day.   County Courthouses, Department of Motor Vehicles, and all related State and local agencies will also be closed for the holiday.  Other background checking services and employment staffing agencies will also be closed.

Since this is Labor Day, and despite the barbecues and traffic jams, the last seasonal visit to the beach and the local pool, let us not forget that this holiday is designated for the American Worker.   That American Worker is in big trouble now, and with the recession and other economic troubles, many good employees have been laid off from their jobs.

So let’s take a pause to hope for better times.   We can celebrate the end of the summer of 2009 with hopes for a better end to this year.   We can hope the economy will kick back in and people can once again go back to work.

Enjoy the holiday.   Drive safe.   See you tomorrow, Tuesday, September 8th.  Corra Group will be open regular hours.
