Courts Closed Background Checks Delayed for Veteran’s Day

For those who may be wonder when there is a delay regarding country criminal records, you can hang it on Veteran’s Day.  As this is the day to remember our veterans, alive and dead, it is understandable that county courts and many public services will be closed.

As the county criminal records check is a key search among the different background checks employers conduct for preemployment screening, the delay should be minor as night only will the courts be closed  Wednesday, but typically they are a little slow in ramping up the following day.  Understandable.

Anyway, for those employers who are closed for Veteran’s Day, we hope you are making some plans to observe the holiday.  Given the recent events in Ft. Hood, we should spend at least a moment honoring our veterans.   For those who suffered at Ft. Hood, we extend our best wishes to their families.

So…be aware…

Government agencies will be closed in observance of Veterans Day on Wednesday, November 11, 2009. Minor delays may occur for some search results.
