Weather Causes Delays in Massachusetts Courts

For those conducting employment screening in the Massachusetts area, please be aware that  severe and unusual weather hit western and central Massachusetts Wednesday, June 1, 2011,  killing 4 and damaging property across the state including Springfield, Mass’ Hall of Justice. The Massachusetts Judicial Branch has requested that, with the exception of emergency workers, all employees of the Hall of Justice not report to work Thursday and possibly Friday.

So there will be delays with retrieving country criminal and county civil records from the courts, in the state.

We will will keep you apprised of developments as news becomes available. In the meanwhile, our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Massachusetts.
