Hiring People to Expand Your Website Presence, Spelled SEO

It’s a recession, for those that hadn’t noticed.   The economy is lousy, business is poor, and few want to speculate when the economy will start to turnaround.   Some think it has already.   Some believe it has more to fall.   Hard to say.  I think it will turnaround faster than most predict.   We shall see.

Meanwhile,  the show must go on.  You have to do business.  Common sense and economic necessity mandate it.   To do business today, a viable website is a primary tool, anymore.  A website for your business, even if you are a brick and mortal business is vital for branding, as well as e-commerce and product identification.

To increase your website presence on the Internet you need to conduct Search Engine Optimization (SEO).   It is at times a tedious pricess, and to do it properly you need to hire the right people.   Otherwise you can initiate a service that is illicit in the eyes of Google or counterproductive.   You can spend a lot of money and years down the road, find out you have reaped little or no gain from your investment.

Marketing Sherpa offers a terrific article about hiring the right people to conduct SEO.   the article goes well beyond background checks to address key elements of the SEO employment candidate.   the article is entitled appropriately enough, “How to Staff SEO’s In House: Eight Tips.”   It is well worth reading.

Conducting SEO may help you gain exposure, which helps your branding and improves your market share.   Read the article.  It’s worth the time.

Check them out before you hire.
