Corra Group Gears Up for First Quarter Surge in Employment Screening

Corra Group is gearing up for what has become the first quarter surge in employment screening. In recent times, in the past few years particularly, employers have qualified their employment requirements and typically get the new year started with a series of new hires.

“Corra Group will typically see a significant surge in background checks as employers move to hire staff for the coming year,” said Corra Group Co-Founder, Nick Gustavson. Usually, the first two weeks in January are pretty quiet as clients get their ducks in a row, but this year we are already seeing increased hiring patterns.

“Human Resources Managers are going through the interviewing process right now at a quicker pace,” said Gustavson. “The job market is strong and quality candidates can often be hard to find. If an employer deliberates too long, they will often lose that candidate to a competitor. With the job market as it is, employers can’t allow any grass to grow.”

Gustavson pointed out that Corra services large multinational companies as well as mid-size businesses and startups. He noted that each employer has different requirements for background checks and Corra Group will consult first with a client and then customize the necessary employment screening package. The client can then order reports at will.
