Corra Group Attends the 2019 RSA Cybersecurity Conference, in San Francisco

Corra Group attended the recent 2019 RSA Cybersecurity Conference, in San Francisco, CA. This is the third straight year that Corra Group had a presence at one of the most significant gatherings where an estimated 50,000 attendees viewed at the Moscone Center all things Cybersecurity.

“The RSA Cybersecurity Show is just a great even,“ said Corra Group Co-Founder, Gordon Basichis. “Thousands of people and hundreds of vendors, from startups to long established companies in the cybersecurity space are on the floor. There are any number of tutorials, seminars, and interactive components.

“Since Corra Group is headquartered in El Segundo, California is part of what is called the Silicon Beach, a key center for advanced technology as well as defense and aerospace, we have a number of clients both there and the Silicon Valley. Corra Group conducts employment screening and due diligence for a number of clients in this sector as well as the staffing and recruiting agencies as well as the financial groups that also work in these channels.”

Basichis pointed out that Corra Group offers background checks the cybersecurity industry and related staffing groups for both their domestic talent but also for their international background checks for foreign employment candidates. He noted that the background searches apply not only to onboarding but so that clients can meet compliance obligations when they contract with the government or other entities.

“Needless to say, cybersecurity is an active space in a variety of different levels,” said Basichis. “There are partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, and great efforts to fulfill a larger number of open staffing positions within this industry. Corra Group is a full service company and works with companies at every level, including the fulfillment of background checks that meet contractual compliance standards when clients through contracts work for some of the larger global corporations.

Corra Group Discontinues DOT Related Drug Tests to Concentrate on Driving Record Services, Including Puerto Rico MVRS

Corra Group Discontinues DOT Related Drug Tests to Concentrate on Driving Record Services, Including Puerto Rico MVRS

Corra Group is now offering Puerto Rico Motor Vehicle Driving Records as a quicker turnaround than previously. In addition, the El Segundo, California headquartered background checking company will discontinue any new DOT compliant drug testing, as it moves to expand its offerings elsewhere.

“We are delighted we can offer Puerto Rico Motor Vehicle Driving Records at decent turnaround times,” said Corra Group Co-Founder, Nick Gustavson. “As most know the country has been ravaged by hurricanes and flooding that for quite some time reduced its ability to provide background checks or driving records. With our new business channels, the average turnaround time for Puerto Rico driving records is three to five business days.

“This background check can be conducted solely for employment screening purposes,” said Gustavson. “We require the job applicant provide to his employer his full name, the last four digits of his social security number, date of birth, and drivers license number. A copy of the license itself, front and back, is preferable.”

Gustavson explained as Corra Group moves to expand its now employment screening and due diligence services, it has decided to discontinue any new clients in need of Department of Transportation compliant drug tests and the management consortium that goes with it. He noted that Corra Group would retain the account of current clients but would not add any new trucking groups to its random management consortium. He pointed out that Corra Group will still offer to truckers all types of background checks, including criminal records and PSP Reports.

The El Segundo, California based company can now cover Asia for companies about to engage in partnerships, vendor arrangements, or especially mergers and acquisitions.

“Corra Group has cemented our partnerships with investigative groups that are based in Asia,” said Corra Group Co-Founder, Gordon Basichis. “We can now offer comprehensive background checks and due diligence services in most of Asia, including Japan, China, Korea, Singapore, and Vietnam. Our partners have many years of experience with investigation and research in this part of the world and can assist businesses and investigative groups in providing a better picture of any potential engagement or possible malfeasance.

“Our services include a number of background checks and related reports,” said Basichis. “We can offer criminal and civil background checks, reputational reports, business credit reports, and research involving a variety of public records.”

Basichis added that Corra Group has been conducting corporate research and due diligence searches both domestically and globally for some time now. He noted Corra Group can offer its services for most countries and businesses around the world.

“Asia is dynamic in its own right,” said Basichis. “But then for investigators and multinational entities involved in Latin American trade must realize countries like China have a large footprint in Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America. As part of a thorough due diligence process it is often essential to conduct research in China, the country of origin.

Corra Group Gears Up for First Quarter Surge in Employment Screening

“Corra Group services businesses both nationally and globally,” said Corra Group Co-Founder, Nick Gustavson. “Besides the usual domestic background checks, we offer a full complement of international background searches.”

EL SEGUNDO, CALIF. (PRWEB) JANUARY 09, 2019

Corra Group is gearing up for what has become the first quarter surge in employment screening. In recent times, in the past few years particularly, employers have qualified their employment requirements and typically get the new year started with a series of new hires.

“Corra Group will typically see a significant surge in background checks as employers move to hire staff for the coming year,” said Corra Group Co-Founder, Nick Gustavson. Usually, the first two weeks in January are pretty quiet as clients get their ducks in a row, but this year we are already seeing increased hiring patterns.

“Human Resources Managers are going through the interviewing process right now at a quicker pace,” said Gustavson. “The job market is strong and quality candidates can often be hard to find. If an employer deliberates too long, they will often lose that candidate to a competitor. With the job market as it is, employers can’t allow any grass to grow.”

Gustavson pointed out that Corra services large multinational companies as well as mid-size businesses and startups. He noted that each employer has different requirements for background checks and Corra Group will consult first with a client and then customize the necessary employment screening package. The client can then order reports at will.

“Corra Group is headquartered in El Segundo, California,” said Gustavson. “We service businesses both nationally and globally. Besides the usual domestic background checks, we offer a full complement of international searches. We see this as critical, given the number for foreign hires that are recruited for any workforce. International Education Verification searches are a necessity, as the number of degree discrepancies is pretty substantial. Job applicants make claims they can’t support.
