Corra Group is Renewing Activity on Custom Due Diligence Reports as Analysts Project an Increase in Mergers and Acquisitions

As analysts project an increase in mergers and acquisitions, Corra Group is preparing custom reports for due diligence and vendor relations on both the domestic and global level. As posted by a recent article on the Morgan Stanley website, entitled, M&A in 2021: An Accelerating Rebound? Corra Group prepares for an uptick in due diligence reports to meet its client’s demands. The El Segundo, California based background checking and business research service can assist with determining the advantages and caveats involved with corporate engagements, ranging from mergers and acquisitions to acquiring alternative sources for critical materials needed for supply chains.

“With signs the economy is turning around, we are experiencing increased interest in our due diligence products,” said Corra Group Co-Founder, Gordon Basichis. “As with cyclical upsurges, businesses are looking to expand by forming partnerships, engaging in mergers and acquisitions, or finding new vendors who can best facilitate their needs in a changing an often volatile environment.”

“Corra Group provides concise custom due diligence reports that can assist any company with their ability in determining the viability of any venture,” said Basichis. “We provide these services directly to corporate entities or will create them for third party sources and global investigation groups.”

Corra Group Offers Motor Vehicle Driving Records to Trucking and Transportation Companies in Need of Replacement Drivers

Corra Group is working with trucking and transportation companies around the country to provide Motor Vehicle Driving Records to employers in need of replacement drivers. According to a recent article in JOC.com, entitled US Truck Driver Shortfall Steeper Than Expected, there are approximate 150 thousand or 4.4 percent fewer drivers since July of 2020. Much of it, the article reports, is due to the crippling economic effects of recession brought on by COVID-19.

The El Segundo, California headquartered background screening company understands there is a pressing need to get as many truckers on the road as possible in order to restore supply chains and to deliver vital goods and materials to businesses and consumers, partly as a result of escalated online ordering, which according to an article in Digital Commerce 360 has grown last year by some 44 percent.

“No doubt, there is a critical shortage of drivers,” said Corra Group Co-Founder, Gordon Basichis. “Between digital or online shopping and economic attrition, our clients tell me that they are desperate to find more truck drivers. Some clients are looking for Department of Transportation compliant commercial drivers and some are looking for drivers who can handle the lighter vehicles, the delivery trucks and such.

“Corra Group works with trucking firms to get them Motor Vehicle Driving Records, or MVRS, in approximately sixty seconds, in most states,” said Basichis. “In addition, for those who need a variety of background checks, Corra Group can offer DOT compliant employment verifications, as well as PSP Driver Safety Reports, and criminal records searches.”

Corra Group Prepares for the Final Surge of Holiday Season Employment Screening

Corra Group is preparing for when both brick and mortar and online retailers enter a major but final stage of hiring for the holiday season. The El Segundo, California background screening service views this phase or the holiday hiring season as the critical time when employers fill in the gaps, regarding additional staffing needs, while adding new drivers to meet what is typically the holiday overload for home delivery.

“This should be a unique year for holiday staffing,” said Corra Group Co-Founder, Gordon Basichis. “In the past years online shopping has been on the increase. But this year with the pandemic already creating the demand for additional drivers, we see our clients adding new drivers in order to avoid any challenges in delivering holiday items on time.”

Basichis offered that Corra Group offers a full range of employment screening background checks. He noted that for the holiday season most employers focus on MVRS, or driving records, and a variety of criminal records searches. He added that Corra Group can service these requirements and turnaround a completed employment screening report in anything from a few minutes to a few days.

“As we draw closer to the holiday season, it is essential that our clients receive employment screening reports in a timely fashion so that they can train and staff their new hires so they can better facilitate seasonal orders,” said Basichis. Smaller Mom and Pop retailers may need only one or two new employees for the holidays. But some of our larger concerns, including the truckers and delivery services, may be hiring hundreds of additional people. Typically, this is the final round where employers assess what they have and what they need to operate their businesses, over the next few months.

Corra Group Urges Trucking and Delivery Services to Conduct Motor Vehicle Driving Records Before the Height of the Holiday Season

Corra Group is urging trucking and delivery services to get an early start in running motor vehicle records on their drivers, before the onslaught of the holiday season. The El Segundo, California headquartered background checking service offers motor vehicle driving records in every state of the union, as well as Puerto Rico and Canada.

“The holiday season appears to be starting earlier this season,” said Corra Group Co-Founder, Nick Gustavson. “We see our trucking and delivery clients are hiring drivers in preparation for what we believe will be a vigorous online buying season. Couple this with the increase in online shopping, partially from COVID-19, and it is easy to see why it pays to get an early start on running MVRS.

MVRS are essential background checks for Department of Transportation Compliance standards,” said Gustavson. “While not all delivery drivers need to be DOT compliant, all drivers need to have a valid drivers license and the kind of driving history that qualifies them as insurable.”

Gustavson pointed out that in addition to MVRS, Corra Group provides a full spectrum of background checks, including criminal records searches, PSP Driver Safety Reports, and DOT compliant employment verification. He noted Corra Group offers employment screening packages for just about every industrial sector.
