Driving records are an important component of background checks. MVR or Motor Vehicle Records Driving Reports can not only show whether you employment candidate has a valid driving license but it will also reveal behavior patterns. There are indicators for substance abuse and desultory behavior. No employer really wants a job candidate that cannot appear in court to deal with his traffic tickets.
As with many things, it is the parts that make up the whole. What you glean from an MVR may lead to other revelations about a candidate’s behavior. A worthwhile search at a decent price, although because of the economic meltdown many states are raising their rates for MVR’s.
Florida is the last to do so. As of today, September 1st, Florida Motor Vehicle Driving Records will increase. The three year MVR will increase to $8.10, and the seven year driving record search will increase to $10.10.
It is still a deal. Check them out before you hire.
